Since starting out as a freelance virtual assistant at the beginning of the year, a few of my contacts have got in touch to say that they are also thinking of going it alone. Having always worked for large companies, I found it pretty daunting to set up as an independent and so I've decided to share my learnings, in the hope that they might help some of you lovely folks.

I will share the good and bad as I go along and blog on my website as a kind of 'Freelancer Journal'.
